As far as Living Dead Dolls go this is one you probably most want to add to your collection.

The Ghost Face doll adds a nice sculpted head that takes the doll a bit outside the normal offerings. While the Ghost Face doll has no hair, the head is a perfect rendition of the mask of the killer(s) from the Scream series of movies.

The robe is the other big thing about this character, so it makes sense that it should be a big thing for the doll. From my experience, this is the first time we get a full robe. Aside from the length and the fact that it is a bit form fitting for the doll, the robe is pretty great and the biggest reason to add this guy to your shelf.

The hood on the figure has a wire in it! When I discovered this I was thrilled. You can make the hood look almost any way you’d want it to look. You can give it a wide look, bending outward at the sides of the head; you can give it a slim and pointed look where the top of the hood has a nice little cap to it; you can do so much to make this look how you want all with one little wire.

The box is very nice too and will fit well with the other LDD figures if you display them in their boxes. In fact, I think I like this box more than the others in this LDD Presents series. I guess I’m just a sucker for black and red.

The last thing to look at is the weapon. Mezco made a perfect toy replica of the main knife for our beloved Kevin Williamson / Wes Craven character. As LDD figures go it’s fine to display as is in the box, but you might already expect, it doesn’t really fit well in the hand. I was able to get it to stay, but the slightest bump moves it closer to being popped out from the squeeze of the molded hand. While the look of the knife is great, the function within the figure itself leaves a bit to be desired and was a little disappointment for me. (A solution to this issue would be to buy some black beard bands and use that to keep the knife in hand)

Overall though, this is most likely my favorite of all the LDD Presents line so far. I believe I have most of them; maybe one or two missing. I thought my favorite would be the Michael Myers doll, but this tops even that. If you’re into LDD figures, or you just love Scream, I’d suggest finding a well priced version of this doll.
