Product Description

Designed by soft toy mad scientist, John Santagada, and inspired by things from the 1980s, Radioactive Uppercut and Rumble Society present: Cyber Ryder - Skeletron Edition.

Before the fall, a top secret black budget program was initiated as a fail-safe for such an event. An elite android law enforcement taskforce was created — the Cyber Ryders.

Cyber Ryders have a collective consciousness controlled by an Earth-orbiting satellite station. The Ryders see all.

Cyber Ryder - Skeletron Edition oozes nostalgia and pays homage to classic 80s cartoons. He is outfitted in a tactical uniform, helmet with mohawk, spiked shoulder armor and gloves, and combat boots. His right forearm can be interchanged with a powerful laser cannon, which conceals neatly inside of his removable head.

Cyber Ryder - Skeletron Edition stands 4" tall and features 6 points of articulation. He comes packaged in a collector-friendly polybag.

Like the original, only different

When I reviewed the original Cyber Ryder, I remarked that, though this isn't based on a comic book character, I sure wouldn't mind there being a comic book character based on this. The aesthetic is delightful, and the squat, soft vinyl figure is well-built and perfectly-painted. It's nice having both versions on my shelf now, too. Check out a bit more in my round-up of 5 toys under 5 inches (for the most part ;-)):
