Product Description

Campers beware! Jason Voorhees from Friday The 13th Part 3 joins the One:12 Collective.

The One:12 Collective Jason Voorhees figure includes two menacingly detailed head portraits and two removable hockey masks. Jason’s axe accessory fits neatly into the gash on his wounded head as well as the crack in his hockey mask, recreating the iconic finale from Friday The 13th Part 3. The infamous Crystal Lake killer is outfitted authentically from the film. Jason comes complete with every weapon he used in the film: an axe, a machete, a cleaver, a wrench, a fireplace poker, a knife, and a spear gun.

Having recovered from the events of Friday The 13th Part 2, Jason Voorhees relocates to the Higgins Haven campsite where a group of unsuspecting teenagers are enjoying an amiable weekend – that is, until Jason shows up and continues his deadly rampage.

Stop fighting yourself; just give in and GET THIS FIGURE!

( For my full review visit: www.mrfrights.com )

Mezco’s One:12 Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th part 3 has been let loose upon the world of collectors and it is good! I couldn’t even wait until the end of the review to give you the verdict.

This figure is so good, so much detail, so many options for posing and playing and displaying, I can barely contain my excitement. But I have to, because right now I’m at work and I’ll have to wait until I get home to really mess with this figure.

All the weapons fit in his hands with ease and are easily swapped and exchanged. The heads and hands are also easily swapped. Other companies figures with exchangeable parts and weapons have this snap or they feel like you really have to work at getting pegs in holes, it feels like you might break stuff and sometimes you do. With these Mezco One:12 figures it really feels like a sturdy, flexible, figure that won’t just break from messing with it. I love that!

In fact, all the pieces to this figure are ridiculously detailed. The dirty paint on the hands, the face, the blood on the weapons, it looks like it was meticulously applied by hand. I’d really like to see how these things are produced.

These One:12 figures are a collector’s dream. Everything about them is pretty darn close to perfection. You won't regret adding any of these to your collection, but I'm a bit partial to the horror figures. If you don't put this Jason figure on your shelf, you'll be kicking yourself for a long time!

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Jason Voorhees ‘Friday the 13th Part III’ Action Figure: The Horror News Network Review

Mezco Toyz’s One:12 Collective Jason Voorhees figure perfectly captures the iconic slasher from his very first appearance where he sported the signature hockey mask we’ve all grown to both fear and adore. Based on Jason’s clothing, makeup, and instruments of death featured in Friday the 13th Part III, the folks at Mezco have meticulously replicated every detail in such a small scale that it makes their undertaking seem almost impossible. Yet, somehow they did it, utilizing a variety of high quality materials and lifelike textures to bring this beast to life!

The Best Jason Figure Yet

Having collected many Jason Voorhees figures through the years, it's not a small thing to say that this One:12 Collective figure is the best one yet. The detail is terrific, from Jason's deformed face, to his cloth outfit. The fact that you can change up Jason's head and iconic hockey mask to the famous hatched version he has by the end of Friday the 13th Part 3 is a terrific touch. On top of that, he comes with an incredible amount of weapons that allow you to recreate pretty much every one of Jason's kills in Part 3. What a terrific addition to any Friday the 13th fan's collection!

So cute, so loveable, it's Jason!

Sadly I've missed all of the horror Mezcos. Was lucky enough to find Freddy, Jason, and Leatherface (preordered) on the secondary market and got Ash as a gift. Freddy came first and I was a little disappointed. He's good but I cant put my finger on what's not doing it for me. Then came this beast. Holy s--t. Immediately, before unboxing, I knew this would be great. The detail is amazing and he really does come with every tool he used to kill. It's that attention to detail that makes me come back to Mezco. I usually collect just the DC heroes but now i am branching out. Hopefully they continue and do other versions from the other films. I'd love a Jason from part 2 since I've always liked pillow case Jason. I'd even buy a Pamela figure. If you can't get this through Mezco, its worth the extra money on the secondary market. Out of all the horror Mezcos I have, this is second only to Ash because, well, hes groovy.

Now...I must convince myself that over 200 for the Michael Myers figure is reasonable.

Campers Beware! Mezco has made the woods a bit more dangerous

There are a lot of Friday the 13th figures on the market these days, but what has done with their take on Jason is a fun museum piece for both collectors and toy photographers alike. Packed with a ton of weapons for camp nightmares, alternate heads and masks, and cool factor, this Jason figure is a must for any horror collector.
