Continuing our 20th anniversary celebrations with a call-back to one of the first figures Mez ever produced, Nosferatu joins the One:12 Collective.

Inspired by the poster art for the 1922 film ‘Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror’, the original “Count Orlok” figure was sculpted by Stephan Linder. The One:12 Collective Nosferatu is a reimagined tribute to the original figure.

The One:12 Collective Nosferatu includes a lot of accessories inspired by the film that were not part of the original Silent Screamers release, as well as a brand new sculpt by sculptor Chu Ka Wa – a member of our Hong Kong team who worked in collaboration with Mez handling art direction. Nosferatu wears a coat, tights, and leather shoes, as represented in the original movie poster artwork. The infamous vampire features three head portraits capturing his inhuman visage, with long, rat-like fangs and pointed ears.

Nosferatu comes complete with a removable hat, a lantern that he can hold in his nightmare-inducing claw-like hands, a rat-infested coffin and lid that he can lay inside, a set of castle keys on a metal ring, and six rats.

Nosferatu is packaged in a retro-style tin lunchbox with art inspired by the animated cartoons of yesteryear; perfect for those long road trips to the Carpathian mountainsides of Transylvania.

THIS EXCLUSIVE BUNDLE CONTAINS:

  • Nosferatu T-shirt - featuring original art of Nosferatu that is sure to please discerning horror fans, this t-shirt is a screen printed, super soft, poly-cotton blend.
  • Nosferatu “Film Cell” - a limited edition, 0.7mm thick cell that features a scene from the stop-motion trailer used in marketing this figure - depicting the Mezco version of the infamous stairway scene. Presented in a protective card stock holder, this unique memento mori is suitable for framing to display in your casket. (Film cell purposely features a weathered effect. You may notice minimal variations.)

Nosferatu? More like Rockferatu!

Mezco bringing the creepy and terror-ific old school with this One:12 release. Nosferatu, the 1932 vampire comes to life in collectible action figure form. He features his cool hat, a detailed stained glass looking lantern, a herd of rats, some keys to jingle, and of course his home away from home coffin. The figure comes in an appropriately larger sized metal lunch box style case which also has the typical One:12 base featuring a Nosferatu logo. The collectible also came with a t-shirt and a large film cell of sorts from the promotional video Mezco made of their figure. Of course not to be forgotten, the figure is covered in real clothing, including detailed buttons and {I guess you'd call them} leggings. BTW, his elf shoes are kind of cute.

First thing to note is this comes with a lot of stuff. I cant fit the t-shirt, but its cool to have. If you are in the same situation you could hand it off to a smaller fan or frame it. I packed mine away. I wish when companies put out t-shirts they would consider taller and bigger folks, but I get it, its expensive to cater to some people. The film cell comes in a nice little protective cover, it is a little loose in there so it might be appropriate to frame it. It would be really cool to be able to put a light behind it, which wouldn't be difficult with today's LED technology.

The figure is exquisitely detailed from his pointed ears right down to his shoes. He comes with some great hand swaps that allow for some fun setups and photos. I had a couple days of just playing with poses and coming up with some expected pop culture jokes.

This guy was a surprise, so if you got him, you got lucky. I got lucky. But Mezco did put out a second round and hopefully you guys will have as much fun as I have with this guy. When you're done playing he fits in nicely with other One:12 offerings such as Frankenstein(s Monster).

Another great Mezco

Another very solid release from Mezco. Everything from the sculpt to the accessories are incredible. So much personality executed perfectly in plastic and fabric. This is one of my all time faves from Mezco. Well worth the purchase price
