Victorian techno-pirate, super genius, visionary, revolutionist, and vengeful saboteur. Having severed his ties with the “civilized world”, Captain Nemo leads his dedicated crew as they journey through the depths of the seven seas in the fantastic underwater vessel, The Nautilus, encountering undiscovered and unknown adventure.

The One:12 Collective Captain Nemo wears a standard issue coverall with a armored breast plate. He has specially designed boots, a multi-functional belt, a leg holster, and an embossed arm band. Nemo’s severed left hand and forearm have been replaced with a mechanical appendage of his design.

Nemo comes complete with all a captain needs including a Sparklock Electronic Pistol, a collapsible spyglass, a sword and scabbard, a sextant, and much more.

Includes a displayable polystone Nautilus replica with clear post and name plate base.

The Nemo Pixar Didn't Tell You About

Captain Nemo, or as I call him, Captain Nemo. Sorry if that's confusing, I just say it way cooler than you. Where do we start? The lunchbox? Yeah, we can start there. Captain Nemo, (read that cooler than usual), comes in a metal lunch box. The other day I busted that out at work and all the haters were just staring at me the entire time I was eating. Part of the stares may have been because I microwaved some fish, but most of the stares were jealousy stares. The lunchbox is so sick, I have to keep medicine in it. Next we have the figure himself. Dude is a snazzy dresser. His pants are a little tight and constrict some movement, like he can't do the splits, and I doubt I could successfully teach him how to Dougie in those pants. He has the manliest blouse I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of dude blouses because I binged watched all the Pirates of the Caribbean movies one time when I was trying to break out of the friend zone with this one chick I work with. And Mezco was like, "Screw a hook hand, give Cap Nemo a gold metal hand," and now, if I ever have a hand bitten off by a shark, I'm showing the doctor my Cap Nemo figure and being like, "Say dawg, ask my insurance if they got me for this." I'll probably have to hit the dark web for a harpoon hand like Cap Nemo though. Aye, that accessory is doper than it even needs to be though. "But Batman has a grappling gun." Screw that. If I'm getting in a fist fight at a Luby's, I'm not trying to shoot someone with a grappling hook, I'm harpooning them right at the dessert area. Speaking of green Jell-O, Cap Nemo has an interchangeable side piece system. He can swap to have his telescope on his leg, his pistol, or just a little pouch. "But Sonny, what's in the pouch?" I don't know, Mermaid bait or something, I don't know, I never read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. He can also rock a blue pancho and matching beanie. The beanie is a little boxy, probably to keep his hair from going all flat like some nerd. You know what else is cool? His sword. When he's holding his sword, he's like an aquatic Danny Trejo. He is a dope figure. I hope y'all got him. If not, that sucks. He even comes with a little Nautilus replica, which is the equivalent of me having a replica of my 2005 Cavalier, but cooler. You're probably still wondering about why he has a steampunky hand. We'll, he has the jaws of a sea creature with a skeleton hand trophy. I assume that's his hand. It'd be weird to have someone else's skeleton hand in your study or your China cabinet. If you asked me to rate him on a scale of 1-10, I'd tell you that's a very personal question. Anyway, get your fleshy and metaly hands on this figure if you can. And he got a squad coming soon. There's no emoji that can quite express my excitement to get his crew squaded up with him, but if there were, it'd be an open mouth smiley face with one fake eye, drawn on eyebrows, a chiseled chin, Owen Wilson's nose, and Liberty Spike hair. Dope figure, and I recommend it.

Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Exclusive Rumble Society Captain Nemo Review

I really wasn't sure what to expect when I finally received Captain Nemo in hand, but overall I was pretty happy. The soft goods are detailed but also showed some concerns out of the box that I listed above. The paint applications to the head portraits and accessories are absolutely top notch. I always tend to look at the head portraits first as I believe that sets the bar for the rest of the figure. After looking over the head portraits I examined all the paint apps from the boots up and its just flat out impressive. The weapons and accessories pop with excellent colors and are also something new and unique we haven't received with previous Mezco releases.
The Rumble Society has taken some flak from fans, as it seems Mezco has been pushing back core DC and Marvel characters where their original figures seem to always be readily available. I'm a patient man, and actually like the fact that we are getting a mix of classic characters as well as Mezco's own line of unique characters. Nemo may be the best Rumble Society figure they have released to date, just due to the sheer beauty, time and effort that went into creating this figure.
In the near future we will also be getting an add on package as well as Nemo's crew set that looks equally as nice. I've preordered both and hope we get them sooner rather then later. Once they hit be on the lookout here as I hope I will get a chance to review them.
