Product Description

“…I realized that what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil.”

Michael Myers, based on John Carpenter’s critically acclaimed film, Halloween, joins the Mezco Designer Series!

Michael’s dark eyes peer through his emotionless white mask. The seemingly unstoppable silent stalker is presented in blue coveralls and comes complete with a butcher knife that fits neatly into his right hand, an additional right hand to recreate haunting poses from the film, and a jack-o-lantern that he can hold.

The M.D.S. Michael Myers figure stands approximately 6” tall and features 10 points of articulation. He comes packaged in a collector-friendly window box, perfect for display.

Michael Never Looked So Good...

For my full review [http://mrfrights.com/game-review/review-halloween-1978-mds-michael-myers/]

Mezco has been bringing us some really great Michael Myers stuff over the past six months or so. The One:12 Collective is one of the best Myers figures I have! The LDD Presents doll is pretty amazing and really creepy. But there's something special about this Designer Series Myers figure.

The figure is heavy, but most of the weight is in his head so it makes for an awkward time trying to pose him. It's not too bad, but it's something to be aware of if you're playing with the figure for photos or something. The feet are pretty solid, so that gives you a good base to work with as far as making sure he stays upright. His head is the most posable thing on the figure as it goes almost all the way up, down, and tilts perfectly for those iconic Michael poses.

The sculpt is nice, the paint is good, though I kind of wish they did something different with the blacked out eyes. The best feature, for me, is the L'oreal hair they sculpted. I had a little fun with that doing some very atypical poses.

One thing I was disappointed in was that the Jack-o-Lantern doesn't light up. It doesn't have a window in the back to let light shine through. So, unless you have your lighting just right and aimed on the front of the pumpkin, you can't make it glow like it's got a candle in it.

Overall, this is one awesome figure and I love the idea that I get to display this guy in my collection. I hope you will find this figure and add it to your collection and then, if you don't already have them, go find the other figures in this line. I think it's a hit and all of us collectors should have these things on our shelves.
