THE WARRIORS*
Our highly-anticipated Warriors action figures came to life in the summer of 2005. Based on the Paramount cult movie classic "The Warriors," Series 1 featured dead-on sculpting, movie-accurate accessories and amazing articulation. Series one included:
· Swan — with bowie knife, switchblade, lead pipe and spray can
· Cleon — with nunchucks, rumble chain and spray can
· Cochise — with Molotov cocktail, wooden board with nails and a spray can
· Luther — with handgun, a broken bottle and 3 mini bottles you can stick on his fingers (from the famous end of movie scene)
· Baseball Fury — with 2 baseball bats (one is broken)
· Ajax — a Mezco Direct Store exclusive
The Baseball Fury figure is available in 4 different face variants, the most elusive being our surprise summer 2005 convention exclusive (limited to just 200 pieces), the sold-out blue-faced Baseball Fury.
A battle of gigantic proportions is looming in the neon underground of New York City. The armies of the night number 100,000; they out number the police 5 to 1 and tonight they're after the Warriors, a street gang blamed unfairly for a rival gang leader's death. Members of the Warriors fight for their lives, seek to survive in the urban jungle and learn the meaning of loyalty.
*The Warriors figures have completely sold out and are no longer in production. There are no plans for a Series 2 at this time.
